Lore
Lore is free and made as a hobby. Every bird photo in the game was taken by a birder and shared on iNaturalist or Wikimedia Commons under a Creative Commons licence. Thank you to all the photographers!
Photos
Most photos are licensed CC BY (credit the photographer) or CC BY-NC (credit the photographer, no commercial use). Some are CC0 or public domain. Lore is free and non-commercial. Inside the game the photographer and licence are shown with every photo, and each guide has a “Photo credits for this guide” list with links to the original observations.
Names and bird data
Bird names, taxonomy and rarity data come from eBird (Cornell Lab of Ornithology) and iNaturalist.
